Activate MySQL

MySQL is a very robust and powerful database than can hold virtually unlimited tables and millions of records. Your account comes with a MySQL database named "[youruser]" and the ability to create unlimited tables. Administration of MySQL can be done either via shell, Perl/CGI, or PHP.

Each account comes with one database, however each database can have unlimited tables. When activating MySQL on your server for use you simply need to begin by visiting "MySQL" >> "Activate MySQL", check the box that reads "Enable MySQL", then choose a MySQL password. Once you click the "process" button, MySQL will be installed and ready to use on your server.

Change MySQL Password. Visit "MySQL" >> "Change MySQL Pwd". Enter your new MySQL password and click "process".  The password will be changed instantly.

 Helpful Hint...

MySQL is an extremely robust database solution and can be very complex at times. It is suggested you at least read the basics at the official MySQL site located at http://www.mysql.com/.
